Musica Touch offers a comprehensive range of music education and composition tools catering to various needs such as ear training, music theory, note reading, and counterpoint. The app provides a total of 45 activities that can be purchased individually based on the user's preferences.
Users can enjoy free versions of some writing tools including the Idea Generator, Composition, Leadsheet, and Tune Notater. Additionally, there are introductory exercises like Easy Rhythms and Single Pitches available at no cost. The Songbook Sampler offers a glimpse into the singalong tunes featured in the Songbook activity, particularly appealing for younger users.
With the option to export music as printable PDFs, MIDI files, or share it with friends, Musica Touch enhances the user experience. The recent inclusion of MIDI in/out capability allows users to connect external keyboards for added versatility.
Compatible with iPads running iOS6 or later (though iOS7 or above is recommended), Musica Touch boasts an array of in-app purchases categorized into different activities:
